Flood Relief Still Needed

SCASL was able to raise $300 for flood relief for school libraries and the students they serve. We took down the link on our website for flood relief donations, and we posted the application for folks to apply for this amount.  After reading some of the stories in the applications we are getting, we decided to re-post the link for donations and reach out to the community again.
Here is an excerpt from one of the grant applications:
"Our school was declared a level 3 disaster. We lost everything and have not returned to our school. The students have been asking when they can check out books again . I am starting over from scratch."
Some of the applicants expressed a desire to use the money to purchase books for students whose families lost everything. Some applicants are still unable to return to their libraries and are in temporary spaces. Almost all of the applicants say they would use the money to purchase books to replace those that were lost or damaged in the flooding.
If you would like to make a donation, we have re-posted the link - https://goo.gl/rBv0CD
